Antiquus Archaeological Consultants Ltd. was established by Mike Rousseau in 1992 and has provided quality archaeological management for almost 30 years.
Our company provides services relating to archaeological resource identification, assessment and management in British Columbia, with most of our investigations occurring in south-central and south-western regions of the province. We specialize in pre-contact period (prehistoric) archaeology, historic archaeology, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
Antiquus has experience working with hundreds of clients, from private land-owners on a single lot, to large-scale mining and forestry projects. Our staff is familiar with all logistical aspects of such projects, and realize that developers frequently require considerable flexibility with respect to both planning and scheduling. We also understand and deeply respect the importance of collaboration with all local First Nation agencies.
